Suspect Arrested In Fatal South Jersey Shooting: Prosecutor

A 50-year-old man from South Jersey has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting last month, authorities said.

Marlon D. Thompson of Millville was arrested without incident in Roselle by members of the US Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Fugitive Task Force and Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office on Tuesday, Aug. 15, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennier Webb-McRae.

Thompson was charged with murder and weapons offenses, she said.

On July 25, at 4:44 p.m., 40-year-old Salmadine Johnson of Millville was located deceased in the 600 block of High Street in Millville. He died of gunshot wounds.
